My daughter Abby teaches us how to make homemade soap using essential oils in this video.
Here is the transcript: Hello everybody. Hello, hello, hello. Happy Sunday. Today I am telling you guys how to make DIY bar soap. This is so, so, so, so, so, so easy. A really quick DIY, and it's toxic free, and it smells really good, and it works amazing.
What you're going to need is glycerin bar soap unscented, your choice of essential oil, and if you want then you can add ... Let's say you have rosemary or lavender plant, or rose leaves, then you can. Rose petals, whatever you want to do. You can get glycerine soap at your local dollar store, or, not dollar store. I think you actually can get it at the dollar store, local grocery store. I got mine at Hobby Lobby.
For mine, what I did is Young Livings Essential Oil, and I used Stress Away and it smelled amazing. What you're going to do is you're going to need a pan, like a sauce pan and this does require using the stove top so you're going to need a sauce pan and your choice of how many glycerine soap squares. Sometimes it's in a block, but you can cut it up, it's usually easier. Let's say you have about four or five, then you're going to need about like ten drops of essential oil just until you think that it's enough. It depends on how strong you want it, but for about four I added about ten to fifteen drops. Just melt it down.
Then what you're going need is a 13 by 9 plan or an 8 by 8 pan, or you can even use little cupcake tins, and pour it in there. If you want to speed up the process then you can put it in the fridge or a couple hours on your counter.
There you go. You're all done. It is amazing, it works amazing, and it's toxic free. Really simple. I hope you guys really enjoy this DIY. If you guys have any video ideas for me or DIY ideas that you would like me to make, please leave it in the comments below. Thank you guys so, so much for watching. I hope you guys have an amazing week. Bye, guys.
