Abby made a video on how she makes Texas Pumpkin Pecan Bread with Young Living Einkorn flour:
Makes 1 loaf. Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour your pan. 1 1/2 cups einkorn flour 1/4 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 2 drops nutmeg essential oil 2 drops cinnamon essential oil 1/3 cups shortening 1 1/4 cups sugar 1/2 tsp vanilla 2 eggs 1 cup pumpkin puree 1/3 cup milk or buttermilk 1/2 cup pecans
Sift all dry ingredients together. Mix eggs shortening, vanilla, pumpkin puree and milk together. Slowly mix in dry ingredients. Mix until moistened. Do not over mix. Fold in pecans, Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Top with powdered sugar or cream cheese icing. Enjoy!
